RATES & PAYMENT

My rate is $250/hour and the final price depends on the size/complexity of your tattoo.

All designs are charged hourly unless otherwise noted. Occasionally, pre-drawns and flash will have a flat rate.

Please let me know if you have a budget.

Price is something you can always discuss with me and I encourage you to ask about it! If your idea surpasses your budget, we’ll talk about ways your idea can be altered to stay within your budget. I'm usually able to provide a general range of time/cost, but keep in mind that it's impossible for me to give you an exact cost until your tattoo is finished; especially for large scale work such as sleeves. Because of this, there may be times where the final cost of your tattoo exceeds the quote I gave you. This is generally rare since I tend to over-quote, but remember that it is a possibility.

I keep a $300 minimum for custom work.

I generally prefer to work on projects that are at least palm or hand-sized. If there’s a really small tattoo you want, feel free to inquire about adding it onto a longer session so I can let you know if it’s doable and give you an estimate.

I can accept credit cards, but as with any small business, cash is preferred and very much appreciated!

The cost of supplies has gone up, as well as processing fees for credit cards, so cash is always preferred. I’m no longer accepting tips through Venmo. Tips are never mandatory, but tipping your tattooer is customary as in restaurants, hair salons, or nail salons. Most people tip anywhere between 15-25%, but really anything is deeply appreciated!

DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULES

All tattoo appointments require a non-refundable $200 deposit.

This isn't an additional charge, but will be subtracted from the total tattoo cost. For multiple session pieces, your deposit will be rolled to your last appointment.

Your deposit is forfeit if you miss your appointment, are more than 20 minutes late, reschedule under the minimum notice, or if you choose to not get tattooed.

I require a minimum of 72 hours notice if you need to reschedule, so just let me know as soon as possible; the sooner the better! In this instance, your deposit will carry over to your new appointment. Do your best to be on time, or at least let me know if you’re running late. I often have another client scheduled after your appointment, or I need to make a drawing for the next day when I get home. If you no call no show, your deposit is forfeit and we won’t work together in the future.

Reschedules without 72 hours notice, or rescheduling more than two times for the same appointment (regardless of how much notice given) will cause you to lose your deposit as a cancellation fee, and you must leave an additional deposit to rebook.

If your deposit is forfeit, that means it has gone towards my time and labor. For instance, if you ended up losing a $200 deposit and you leave an additional $200 deposit to rebook, it does not mean you now have a $400 deposit down; consider it starting over and that it’s a new $200 deposit. This is not a punishment; it is protection for myself to mitigate lost income when I can’t fill a spot on short notice. I totally understand that things happen and sometimes you need to reschedule your appointment last minute. If you’re doing me the courtesy of letting me know and it’s not a recurring pattern, I’m not at all upset and I want you to make a new appointment! But I still need you to leave a new deposit in order to do so.

Deposits are non-transferrable.

Your deposit is for the design we’ve mutually agreed upon and cannot be transferred to a different design, separate appointment, or another person.

If rescheduling becomes a continually recurring pattern over the course of time working with each other, your deposit will be forfeit regardless of notice to compensate me for my time spent rearranging my schedule.

DRAWINGS

I don't show drawings or drafts ahead of time.

I spend so much time researching and preparing every single drawing- and I usually have multiple drawings to make each week- so my schedule just does not allow it. If you like my portfolio, have clearly communicated what you want, and trust me to do my thing, you should feel confident that I'll make a design you'll like. If you're feeling really unsure or that you need to see the design beforehand, I’m either not the right artist for you, or you may be better suited to sticking with pre-drawn designs.

All drawings will be ready the day of your appointment, which you'll see when you come in for your tattoo.

I leave cushion time in appointments for minor adjustments to be made and I encourage you to speak up if there’s something you want to tweak! If you've changed your mind completely or want to add something that wasn’t previously discussed, please let me know at least a week before your appointment so I have enough time to properly research and modify your design.

A total change in design on short notice or extensive redraws on the day of your appointment may result in a reschedule so that nothing is rushed.

This may also require an additional deposit to cover the added drawing time. I will never pressure you to get a tattoo you don’t want or are unsure of. In the grand scheme of things, I think it’s way better to lose your deposit instead of having a tattoo that you’re unhappy with! I will note that this is quite a rare occurrence, as I always try to ensure I have a good idea of what my client is looking for, and that we’re on the same page before booking an appointment.

PRE-DRAWNS & FLASH

I don’t make alterations for pre-drawns or flash.

Pre-drawns and flash are designs that you’re able to see ahead of time, usually on my instagram, when I open my books. If you’re leaving a deposit for a pre-drawn or flash, the agreement is implicit that you’re getting the design exactly as it is (plus shading as you see in my portfolio). I usually list a minimum size requirement and price range for that size with arm or leg placement. I’m always happy to make the design larger, and torso placement (such as ribs, stomach, chest, hips, etc.) is always doable unless otherwise noted. Just please let me know ahead of time if this is what you want, and I can give you an updated price range. My hourly rate will apply since it will take longer to complete your tattoo in these instances. If you’re wanting to make the design larger, try to include an approximate measurement in your email inquiry so I’ll know how long to book your session for, and so I can determine whether or not it will be multiple sessions. If my books are open and there’s a pre-drawn you wanted that was claimed, I’m always down to make something similar for you!
